Update: Arthur said it’s FIDE rated.

There will be the Canterbury Spring Allegro on the next two Mondays. The tournament is FIDE rated, and the time control is 15 minutes till the end.

Our Winter Swiss will be FIDE rated. We’ll start on the 17th of July. All current and new members are welcome!

Arthur Huynh has obtained the Lightning Champion title after he won the tournament with a perfect score of 9/9. Adrian Rose was the second with 7 points.

Arthur Huynh won the Club Championship with an impressive 6.5/7 score. The equal second were Adrian Rose and Fred Flatow – 5.5.

The most important tournament of the year – Canterbury Championship – will start on Monday, 6th of March. There will be 7 rounds over 7 Mondays. The time control is 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increment per move starting from the first move.

Fred Flatow has scored 8/9 in the Canterbury Rapid Championship 2017, which finished today. The equal second Adrian Rose and Arthur Huynh were 1.5 point behind.

We’ll start the year 2017 with the Canterbury Rapid Championship on Monday the 13th of February at 7:30pm. There will be 9 rounds over three Mondays. The time control is 20 minutes plus 10 seconds per move. All players are welcome.
